Our Hospice Philosophy
Harmony HospiceĀ embraces patients with any kind of life limiting illness, regardless of age, gender race, sexual orientation or ability to pay. We provide services and programs that can help individuals live complete and rich lives in spite of loss and grief. Palliative care is directed by the patients and family along with the patient’s physician and our medical director. Nurses, social workers, hospice aids, spiritual advisors and trained volunteers work as an expert team to provide compassionate palliative care. The team focuses on providing comfort and pain relief when a cure is not possible. The goal is to help each person live as fully as possible and to help the family and loved ones participate in their loved one’s care.
